Ulzzang is Korean for “pretties face” or most good looking.

The term was used a lot during beauty contests in the past but has developed into a sub-culture fashion style. You could say that Ulzzang girls are the Korean version of Gyaru gals. They use a lot of beauty products to make their eyes look bigger and their skin look pale and even. They have often nice wavey hair and always dress very trendy.

Unfortunately the trend has led to a lot of girls turning to plastic surgerly to make their eyes bigger, and reduce their nose sizes. We think that is horrible. We think you should love yourself the way you were created. We see nothing wrong with having fun with make up to enhance your look or create a certain style but are very much against plastic surgery for beauty purposes.
